Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of internal compliance documentation and regulatory filings.
- Monitor daily business operations to identify potential risks and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Support the compliance team during internal and external audits by gathering necessary data and records.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and communicate relevant updates to the team.
- Conduct basic research on industry standards to recommend improvements to current procedures.
- Respond to inquiries from regulatory bodies and internal departments regarding compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date logs of compliance activities and training sessions.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Law is a strong plus.
- Experience: No prior compliance experience required. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
