Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements monthly.
- Process and post invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
- Assist in the preparation of basic financial reports and balance sheets.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial documents.
- Assist with payroll processing under supervision.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- 0-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting is preferred, but entry-level candidates with strong Excel skills are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential) and accounting software (QuickBooks or Xero).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
