Role Overview:
As an Entry Level Bookkeeper, you will assist our senior accountants in maintaining the financial health of our clients. You will learn to navigate industry-standard software while handling essential financial tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and bank statement reconciliation.
- Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Process payroll for small to medium-sized businesses with precision.
- Ensure accurate filing and organization of financial documents.
- Communicate with clients regarding billing status and discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- No prior professional experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (preferred but not mandatory).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
