Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Process and invoice bills, verify vendor invoices, and approve payments.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and general ledger entries.
- Maintain and organize financial records in both physical and digital formats.
- Assist with payroll preparation and reporting as needed.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding invoices, payments, and account status.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and General Ledger (GL) concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is highly preferred but we will train the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
