Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Assist the accounting team in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Accounts Management: Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are supported by proper documentation and adhere to GAAP standards.
- Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure financial data integrity.
- Close Process: Support the month-end and year-end closing procedures, assisting with journal entries and adjustments.
- Administrative Support: Organize and file financial records, contracts, and invoices for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or currently enrolled in a relevant degree program).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP are a plus).
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to data entry and financial analysis.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Soft Skills: Strong work ethic, problem-solving abilities, and a genuine desire to learn the accounting profession.
