Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial statements and reports.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and on time.
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and properly classified.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax returns under the guidance of senior staff.
- Conduct basic audits and verify the accuracy of financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role (internships included).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
