What You Will Do:
As a Junior Accountant, you will play a vital role in our daily operations, learning the fundamentals of accounting while supporting our senior team. You will gain hands-on experience with real-world financial data and contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of our financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process and verify invoices to ensure accuracy and timely payment.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records.
- Support the month-end close process and assist with basic tax preparation filings.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to track financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
