Responsibilities
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare basic financial statements, ledgers, and reports for management review.
- Perform bank reconciliations and identify discrepancies for resolution.
- Support the audit process by gathering and organizing necessary documentation.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis under supervision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts).
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial terminology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new financial software systems.
