Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support the month-end close process by gathering necessary documentation and data.
- Generate and analyze financial reports and variance analysis.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for both digital and physical documents.
- Assist external auditors with requested schedules and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros preferred).
- Understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
