Responsibilities
- General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in the daily recording of financial transactions and the reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, verify vendor statements, and manage accounts receivable collections to ensure timely payments.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements and credit card accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and assist with audit schedules and documentation.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) for data entry, reporting, and maintaining accurate digital records.
- Compliance & Audit Support: Maintain organized filing systems and assist external auditors during annual reviews.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience; recent graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and working knowledge of accounting software.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and identify trends with a high degree of accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
