Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including data entry and invoice processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Support the month-end close process by collecting and organizing necessary documentation.
- Assist with payroll processing and maintaining accurate employee records.
- Prepare basic tax filings and assist in internal audits.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles (coursework or self-study accepted).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
