Responsibilities
- Assist with the monthly and quarterly closing processes, including preparing trial balances and adjusting entries.
- Perform data entry and reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts with high accuracy.
- Support the senior accounting team in preparing financial reports and presentations.
- Maintain and organize financial documents, ledgers, and filing systems for easy access.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions using accounting software.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables are a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies in data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or a strong willingness to learn.
