Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records and journals.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely manner.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with year-end audit preparations and tax filings.
- Support the finance department with data analysis and reporting using Excel.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to pursue professional certifications such as CPA (encouraged).
