Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records in our accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP).
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist in the month-end closing process.
- Organize and file physical and digital financial documents.
- Support the senior accounting team with ad-hoc analysis and research.
- Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
- No prior accounting experience required; we are looking for eager learners.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is highly preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) is a bonus but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
