Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and general ledger entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable duties, including processing invoices and managing vendor communications.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Support the finance team during annual audits by organizing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry, financial modeling, and creating pivot tables to analyze financial data.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently enrolled in an accounting program with a graduation date within 6 months).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros are a plus).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and accounting cycles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
