Responsibilities
- General Ledger Support: Assist in maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts and sub-ledgers.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments to vendors while tracking accounts receivable.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare basic financial statements, trial balances, and variance analysis reports for management review.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for accurately.
- Compliance: Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Data Entry: Maintain accurate financial records in accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related administrative role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
- Communication: Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
