Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts accurately.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports and spreadsheets using Excel.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions timely.
- Support the audit process and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in budget preparation and perform variance analysis.
- Organize and maintain financial documentation and filing systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formatting).
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero).
