Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping operations, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain organized financial records, ledgers, and filing systems (physical and digital).
- Support the month-end closing process by preparing trial balances and adjusting entries.
- Generate basic financial reports and assist in budget tracking.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data with guidance from senior staff.
- Utilize accounting software to update and maintain transaction records.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (CPA candidates are highly encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables and formulas are a plus).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in data.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
