Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Support the audit process by gathering and organizing financial documentation.
- Reconcile credit card statements and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and process journal entries under the guidance of senior staff.
- Maintain and update the fixed asset register.
- Respond to vendor and client inquiries regarding invoices and account status.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (graduating class of 2023 or 2024 preferred).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
