Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable invoices accurately and timely.
- Assist with the monthly and year-end closing process, including preparing trial balances and financial statements.
- Perform routine bank reconciliations and general ledger account reviews.
- Support the audit process by gathering and organizing financial documentation.
- Maintain and update fixed asset schedules and expense reports.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings under the guidance of senior staff.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) to manage financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Graduates with 0-2 years of experience encouraged to apply).
- Strong academic record with a focus on finance or accounting coursework.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and formulas.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles (GAAP) and bookkeeping practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
