We are looking for motivated candidates who possess a strong aptitude for numbers and a desire to learn. As a Junior Accountant, you will work closely with our senior team to ensure financial accuracy and contribute to the success of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks and general ledger maintenance.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Prepare basic financial reports, spreadsheets, and supporting schedules.
- Support the external audit process by organizing and preparing documentation.
- Perform high-accuracy data entry and filing of financial records.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis under supervision.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong basic math skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables helpful).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to obtain relevant certifications (e.g., CPA) during employment.
