Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes and reconciliations.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Support the tax preparation process by gathering necessary documentation.
- Assist in the organization and storage of financial records and digital files.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing and account inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates welcome).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
