Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments to vendors and collections from clients.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile monthly bank statements and credit card statements to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain accurate financial records and perform month-end close procedures under supervision.
- Compliance: Assist in maintaining compliance with internal controls and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups) and familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with team members and clients.
- Integrity: High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
