Responsibilities
- Assist with General Ledger (GL) Maintenance: Update and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely payments.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Compliance & Auditing: Assist with internal and external audits and ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Ad-Hoc Support: Provide administrative support to the Senior Accounting team as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and maintain data integrity.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
