Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including processing accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Support the preparation of basic financial reports and monthly closing schedules.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Perform data entry and assist in the preparation of quarterly tax documents under supervision.
- Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve billing discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and undergo training for entry-level accounting roles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numerical data.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
