Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations (FLSA, FICA, Georgia state laws)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings accurately
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and termination processes
- Prepare payroll reports for leadership and external auditors
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience
- Advanced proficiency in ADP or comparable payroll software
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, federal/state tax laws, and GA payroll regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Professional certification (CPP, FPC) preferred
