Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- File and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Assist the Senior Accountant with the month-end close process.
- Prepare basic tax forms and assist with quarterly filings.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
