Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to support our accounting department. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with financial software, assist with audits, and ensure our financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records in our accounting software.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly.
- Support the accounting team during the month-end and year-end closing process.
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist with inventory management.
- Answer phone inquiries from vendors and clients regarding invoices and payments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in mathematical computations.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is preferred).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
