Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly and quarterly financial statement preparation
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate accounting records
- Reconcile bank accounts and process vendor invoices
- Support payroll processing and tax documentation
- Assist in audits and compliance reviews
- Learn and implement QuickBooks accounting software
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 0-2 years of accounting experience (students welcome)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- QuickBooks knowledge (training provided)
