Responsibilities
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Process and verify accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reporting.
- Maintain and organize general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.
- Assist external auditors with requested schedules and documentation.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to manage daily financial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a CPA/CMA).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) is required.
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and basic accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
