Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing and reconciliation
- Prepare financial statements and balance sheets under supervision
- Manage payroll processing and employee expense reports
- Conduct data entry and maintain accurate financial records
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client projects
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for daily tasks
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (or pursuing)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- QuickBooks experience preferred but not required
- Valid Missouri driver's license (for occasional client visits)
