We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team immediately. Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring invoices are paid and bills are collected.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation requirements.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation and filing systems.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is mandatory.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
