Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15+ client portfolios including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Lead tax preparation and planning initiatives for corporate and individual clients
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks Enterprise and advanced Excel modeling
- Mentor junior accountants and provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership
- Conduct internal audits and ensure robust internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA or active CPA candidate status
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial reporting software
- Proven track record of managing complex month-end closes and reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data and trends
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and presentations
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit preparation
