Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for multi-state employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage time and attendance systems, resolving discrepancies with precision
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations (FLSA, FICA, local ordinances)
- Administer garnishments, deductions, and voluntary benefit deductions
- Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts monthly
- Prepare year-end tax forms (W-2, 1099) and support audits
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding payroll integration
Qualifications
- 3+ years payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS platforms
- Deep knowledge of federal/state payroll tax regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Proven problem-solving with complex payroll discrepancies
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and meet deadlines
