Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (NC, SC, VA)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and year-end tax filings (W-2s, 1099s)
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Collaborate with HR on benefits administration and time-off tracking
- Maintain confidential employee records and audit documentation
- Support system upgrades and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with ADP systems
- FPC or CPP certification strongly preferred
- Proficiency in multi-state tax compliance and garnishment processing
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and payroll software expertise
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or related field
