Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Verify time records, deductions, and tax withholdings for accuracy
- Manage garnishments, bonuses, and commission payments
- Prepare and file federal/state payroll tax forms (941, 940, etc.)
- Respond to payroll inquiries within 24 hours
- Conduct payroll audits quarterly and annually
- Update and maintain payroll policies in compliance with FLSA and NC regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification preferred
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Strong understanding of FLSA, FICA, and NC payroll laws
- Experience with garnishment processing and tax filing
- Ability to handle confidential data with discretion
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Associates degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
