Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees accurately and on time
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax withholdings in compliance with federal/state regulations
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries with exceptional customer service
- Maintain precise records using ADP and QuickBooks Payroll platforms
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments on payroll-related audits and reporting
- Ensure adherence to FLSA, IRS, and Alaska state labor laws
- Generate monthly/yearly payroll reports for executive review
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP, QuickBooks, or similar payroll software
- Deep understanding of federal and Alaska state payroll regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification strongly desired
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
