Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees
- Administer garnishments, deductions, and tax withholdings
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and submit tax filings (federal, state, local)
- Maintain compliance with FLSA, DOL, and state regulations
- Support year-end processing and W-2 distribution
- Document and update payroll policies and procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar systems
- Strong knowledge of multi-state tax regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- PHR or CPP certification preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize in deadline-driven environments
