Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (CA, FL, NY)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and union contributions accurately
- Prepare and file quarterly payroll tax returns (Form 941, state withholding)
- Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies within 24 hours
- Conduct payroll audits monthly and support annual 1099 processing
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with ADP/Greenfield systems
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Deep knowledge of California labor laws and FLSA requirements
- Proven track record in resolving payroll discrepancies
- Experience with multi-state payroll compliance
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
