Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive credit analysis on loan applications, including financial statement review and ratio analysis.
- Assess the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses by analyzing credit reports, financial history, and market conditions.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and recommendations for credit approval or denial.
- Monitor existing accounts for early warning signs of delinquency and proactively manage risk.
- Ensure all credit files are complete, accurate, and compliant with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with loan officers and relationship managers to provide strategic insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or a related financial role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and financial modeling.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
