Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations and risk assessments for senior management
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signals
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay current on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit markets
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Present findings through clear, concise reports to decision-makers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of credit analysis experience in banking or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, financial modeling)
- Strong understanding of financial statements and cash flow analysis
- Credit risk assessment experience with commercial or consumer loans
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional certification (CFA, FRM) preferred
