Role Overview:
As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of our organization. We offer a hybrid work environment and a path for professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts and credit cards.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss and balance sheets.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure all tax filings are accurate and submitted on time.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Support the finance team with budget preparation and expense tracking.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and other formulas).
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and local tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
