Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare monthly financial statements with variance analysis and budget vs. actual reporting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations through accurate tax filings and audits
- Develop and implement financial controls to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with department heads on financial forecasting and strategic planning
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Manage banking relationships and cash flow optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven experience with financial reporting, audits, and tax preparation
