Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records including general ledger accounts, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to optimize cash flow
- Assist with budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial forecasting
- Coordinate with auditors during annual financial audits
- Process payroll and maintain employee benefit records
- Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- CPA certification preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines in high-volume environments
