Responsibilities
- Process customer deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with 100% accuracy and efficiency.
- Open new checking and savings accounts, explaining product features and guiding customers through the digital onboarding process.
- Cross-sell and refer financial products such as credit cards, mortgages, and investment accounts to meet branch goals.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure financial integrity.
- Adhere to strict compliance regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and Know Your Customer (KYC) policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized branch environment, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; prior banking, cash handling, or retail experience is a plus.
- Strong math skills with the ability to handle large sums of cash and perform mental arithmetic quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with diverse clientele.
- Basic computer proficiency with the ability to learn new financial software systems rapidly.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and a credit check.
