Responsibilities
- Prepare and file complex federal, state, and local tax returns for corporate and individual clients
- Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to ensure compliance and optimize client outcomes
- Collaborate with senior advisors on tax planning strategies for high-net-worth individuals
- Manage client relationships through proactive communication and quarterly tax consultations
- Utilize advanced tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, CCH Axcess) for efficient workflow
- Mentor junior associates while maintaining strict quality control standards
- Stay current with evolving tax legislation and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MST preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive tax preparation experience in public accounting
- Deep expertise in S-Corporation, Partnership, and Individual taxation
- Proficient with tax research databases (e.g., CCH, LexisNexis)
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail-oriented deliverables
- Strong communication skills for client presentations and team collaboration
