Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations (FLSA, FICA, etc.)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings across multiple jurisdictions
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies with general ledger
- Collaborate with HR on benefits administration and 401(k) contributions
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries with exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Deep knowledge of federal/state tax laws and garnishment procedures
- Experience with 401(k) administration and benefits coordination
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
