Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess commercial viability for 2026-2030 horizon
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market forecasts and organizational objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future products and business models
- Present actionable insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and industry thought leaders
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on technology adoption
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership content on future tech trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record predicting tech adoption (portfolio of validated forecasts)
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, Economics, or related field
- Certification in Futures Studies (e.g., CFt from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex concepts
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term tech strategy
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
