Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends through 2026
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks that translate future scenarios into actionable business roadmaps
- Champion innovation across departments by integrating future-focused methodologies into product development cycles
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling data visualizations and narratives
- Build and manage a cross-functional futurist strategy team while fostering external partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks
- Oversee the creation of annual 'Future State' reports and scenario planning exercises for C-suite decision-making
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Business Analytics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Exceptional data visualization skills using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or custom frameworks
- Demonstrated success in translating complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Strong network within futurist communities, including participation in World Future Society or similar organizations
- Experience leading high-impact teams and managing multi-year strategic initiatives
