Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, biotech, and sustainable technologies
- Produce high-impact strategic reports and executive briefings on emerging risks and opportunities
- Partner with R&D to prioritize innovation portfolios aligned with future market trajectories
- Establish global thought leadership through keynote speaking and published research
- Mentor junior futurists and build the organization's future intelligence capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial success
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences and stakeholder alignment
- Published research or thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF preferred)
